Yesterday,  8May2016,  I went to KFC in Langenhovenpark,  Bloemfontein,  South Africa.  This is a 24 hour service.  At first there were nobody at the drive-through window,   with no notification.  At the pay window,  the staff were looking me in the eye and turn their backs on me.  I then went to the walk-in-counter.  Unfriendly people,  not greeting, dragged themselves to the counter.  The shop had only 12 pieces of chicken in total.  I had 2 previous experience where the same shop didn't have any ice cream.  Then waiting and waiting and at last the bag were pushed through the bars - no smile,  no greeting, nothing.  I call the manager and explain that I (and all other customers) are the reason for them having a job,  etc,  etc.  The manager apologized and was friendly.  It seems as if these people's work environment is very,  very unpleasant.  In my opinion this needs to be address at management.  From there I walked to Woolworths food,  where the guy who packed the shelves came down,  greet me and wished me a happy mother's day.  At the pay points everybody (including the managers) were smiling and greeting and wishing a happy mothers day.  It actually seems as if they enjoyed there job - also being mothers and had to work on this day,  didn't bother them.  In future,  I will pass KFC and pay 50% more for better service at Woolworths Food.
