I went to balance my bank account and came across this unauthorized deduction from my account (via my debit card).  I do not know how they obtained my information to process the charge.  I have informed my bank of this fraudulent action and will pursue it until I get my money back.

Same problem here. 3 charges, 3 months starting May. Experian 877-2977790
Charges 19.95. Called Experian and they said someone named Brandy used it.. what the hell...I'm surprised till now Experian hasn't had a class action law suit against them. Maybe a lawyer should look into this as there's potential for that... Think about the same company has and knows EVERYTHING about you. Not only that, they control what everyone else thinks and believes about you. The horror!

Just found 3 19.95 charges on my account.  Disputed with Bank and called Experian and they seem to be well aware of it, as all I had to mention to the Customer service guy was unauthorized charges under my card for 19.95 and he knew exactly what to do and fixed it right away.

    Their still doing it!
I have been charged $19.95 for the last 3 months. Called chase and filed a complaint. I had a free credit report but gave them no credit card info but they charged my credit card anyway! Fraud pure and simple!

Looks like I beat all. I noticed an unusual charge on my bank statement & went back thru over a years worth of statements & found Experien had been charging me 14.95 on the 24th of each month & then 19.95 on the 26th of each month for the past 10 MONTHS! Thats 349.00 they stole from me. I've never ordered anything from Experien or any other credit agency, I don't even use my debit card to buy things online. Charges started 2 days after Christmas. I know exactly how it happened, I was warned when they issued my debit card to be careful when eating out about letting people go off with my card and I only use my debit card for going out to restaurants and the like. Unfortunately, I've been eating out a lot lately which is why I didn't immediately notice these two small charges amongst all the others. I'm calling Experien now & closing my bank acct on Monday morning.

The Same thing happen to me. I was getting a random $19.95 charge from Experian Cr* on my account around he 18th of the month. For the life of me I couldn't figure out what this was until I stumbled upon this website. I called the 877-297-7790 number and its creditreport.com. I told them I did not authorize these charges they asked if I knew a Michelle which I did not and they issued me a refund due to me in 7-10 days. They said through online purchases someone got a hold of my card.

Same thing here. I can't believe that Experian is letting people get away with this when there are so many consumers having this problem. In my case, I've already cancelled the old card that was being charged. However, the new card I received is getting charged the same amount becuse of some carry over #. It's total bull.

I had the exact same issue happen to me.  $19.95 charge every month.  I did not notice them until now, since they are in the midst of many other of my usual purchases and such, and each one is relatively low dollar amount, so they have been going on for quite a while.......  Called Experian.  They said someone by the name of Jonathan H. set up an account and has been making the charges.  Of course, I have never heard of this person.  Experian is blocking the account and refunding the money to my card.  Strange that I cannot find other fraudulent charges.  So as others have said, looks like they steal your credit card number then just use it for this one recurrent fraudulent charge.

I ordered a free credit report a week ago and it came with a free trial membership to some other service. I was told on the site something about receiving the info via email. Well no info ever came and I can not find my way back to the original site to cancel this membership I never wanted.

No receipt for payment or log in info was ever sent, today a charge show up on my credit card and so I called the number on the charge and was asked a lot of personal info after which they confirmed my identity.

I explained my situation and the girl on the phone called rain? started arguing with me stating it was a valid charge and why did I sign up in the first place. The conversation was going nowhere and I had to state several times in a firm tone I want cancelled and my money back and I will take the matter further, eventually after placing me on hold she came back and said as a courtesy even though the charges are valid they will re reimburse. BEWARE DO NOT ask for a credit report from this company without paying extreme close attention to small print and bookmark the page so you may return. Do not expect a welcome or reply email.
