Why do you deal with Square Up?

I completely understand what you are going through. I have dealt with many merchants who used Square Up previously and found that due to the fact you have no monthly fees your are being charged 2/75/transaction EACH TIME U SWIPE and not to mention the key in is 3.75 EACH TIME! Now I am sorry you are going through this but that is the GIMMICK that they give to you. They sale you on the NO MONTHLY FEES for the wireless terminal but they don't explain how unprofessional and impersonal they are. Our Wireless Terminal fees are not even high and say if you had a 1.4% on a wireless terminal and a $14/month fee , you will still save more money than you are doing with Square and still receive DIRECT CUSTOMER SERVICE. If you are curious we can have you speak with a agent at no cost or obligation to find out our rates and fees. We pride ourselves in being a 1 on 1 Direct Merchant Provider.

They have had a review of my account for the last 3 weeks, meanwhile my funds are being held.
I had processed several transactions until they decided they would like to hold on to my money for a while.
They sent me an email requesting EIN, Articles of Organization, Delivery Confirmation, Company Ads, All because of supposed unusual activity.
They claimed review process would take a day and my funds would be released accordingly. I faxed all the documents they requested and I still have not seen my money.
No phone number to call, customer response is non-existent, they hide behind fake help center on there website. You even waive your right to file class action law suit when you set up your square account and agree to there terms.
I filed a complaint with BBB today. Will post an update as it becomes available.

The reality is square is not designed for large businesses or POS setups like a food store. However for my small event company where i primarily get paid in check for our services but like to have a card service for incidental charges at 3am from a client no other service compares to the ease of Square. I have had to get tech help with my limits and even though though e-mail, they were responsive and fixed the problem promptly.
