WC * VALUE PLUS charged my checking account $16.95 for something I did not order or even know what it is. If I did order something, I did so unintentionally and I want my funds refunded to my checking account immediately. I have notified my bank concerning this and they will do what is necessary to prevent this from occuring again. I did some viewing on Overstock.com, but I do not recall making any purchase or signing up for any service that cost me anything much less the $16.95 assessed my checking account. Please refund my funds, cancel any order that I may have accidentally made as I do not know of any such transaction I may have made.
If Overstock.com does not wish to lose a customer, I urge you to act on this request ASAP as I will voice my complaint to others and authorities.

    Immediately dispute the charge with your bank as fraudulent, and close that account to prevent future fraudulent charges.  Follow up with a WRITTEN dispute to your bank, send certified return receipt requested to the dispute address on your statement.  Make sure your bank gets this written dispute within 60 days of the statement date showing the unauthorized charges to preserve your FRB Reg. E dispute rights.

    Do NOT use checking accounts, checks, debit cards, or check cards for on-line or retail purchases.  Use ONLY credit cards for such purchases, as the federal consumer protections are stronger, and there is less hassle in closing an account when it is compromised.
