I received a nice pair of Thom Mc An shoes, I have used this brand of shoes for years, and I love the way the feel and how long they last, but this particular pair is falling apart. I wore them three times and the soul of the shoe was falling apart, I took the shoes to get repaired (since I did not have the receipt anymore, did not thing I would need it since I trusted this brand) and all they could do was reglue the shoe. According to the shoe repair man he is unable to repair the shoe by other means since the design of the shoe does not allow him to sow it together. Very dissapointed about this.

I purchased two pairs of the "Walker" style Thom Mcan shoes from a department store in Woodhaven, Michigan, the black pair of shoes have fallen apart. The sole of the shoe has separated form the base and unforunately the return date has pased. I purchased the shoes because of the comfort and sale price, this is the second pair of shoes that I have bought that have come apart in this fashion. Can you give me an explanation of why this is occuring? and is there any possible resolution to replacing or repairing the shoes. Thank you in advance for your time and consideration, I look forward to your reply.

1. There are 8 eyelets on each shoe for lacing, the top 2 eyelets are metal loops. The laces are already fraid to the point of breaking due to the metal eyelets.
2. Both shoes have deep cracks in the rubber under sole in the heal area. One shoe the crack extends half way across the shoe and the other appears to be just starting.
3. The shoes squeak when walking across wooden floors to the point it's embarrassing.
I am very dis-satisfied with these shoes and plan to write Walmart customer service also.
