I've exchanged two of these Huskey 2000S powerwashers within the 1st week of ownership (initially bought in 2008). One year later the valve system failed & even though the unit was still under warranty - Huskey tried to convince me this part/failure wasn't covered. Took alot of convincing, but ended up getting the part free & had to self-install. Now, two years later, the unit has totally stopped working & it's internal (not circuit breaker, hose, etc.). This unit has "very low" hours (2-deck projects & couple of carwashes) so I'd have to steer anyone away from purchasing any electric Huskey Power Washer (junk). I'm cutting losses & going w/gas operated model from Sears...

I bought my Husky 2000 power washer a while back and didn't use it right away. When I did finally power it up, water poured from every opening in the motor housing but not much sprayed from the end of the hose. I got on the Husky website and inquired about the problem. It took them two times to get the correct replacement manifold to me. Now that there is water coming from the end of the hose, it pours from every seam in the wand that is supposed to spray a flat spray and there is little pressure at the end of the wand...I can put my hand comfortably into the stream of water and eventually it will wash dirt from my hand. I had a terrible time trying to replace the wand with the other that sprays in a circular pattern. When I finally got it on and powered it up, it sprayed toward one side and did not spray in a circular pattern. Then it blew the orange cover off the end. The threads where it screws on are all stripped and some are missing and now I have missing parts. This power washer is horrible! I've had nothing but problems with it from the first time I powered it up. Time to go elsewhere and get something that will work. It's the last Husky product I'll ever buy.

I bought into the Husky 2000S and have the same problems mentioned above. What's even worse us that after their CS contacts you, asks for all the usual info and says they'll ship out a box to send it in for repairs, you never hear from them again. Lip service to providing any help.

Well, I had a husky 2000s since 2009 and never had any problem with it, I had clean decks, floors, roofs, cars..!! I do believe for its price is a delicate equipment, plastics parts and no heavy work for long periods of time. I do know most people, american style do not make proper use of equipment and they can easily buy back another one arguing economic welfare. I recommend just to read well instructions, carefully and make sure you are going to value your purchase. I do had a problem and blew the turbo nozzle, but because I was using water whit dirt particles that obstruct the end of the lance once the water screen was completely covered. I bought a new one for 19.75....¡ cant complaint. Still believe in husky and recommend it.

I have a 2000S that I purchased in 2007, 2008 time frame. I as well have very little use on my unit. Without the trigger being pulled, the pump turns on and off and the high pressure and medium pressure light toggle on and off. Unit will not go into high pressure mode when seletcted on the wand. All screens are clear, no water leaks and 25' hose is connected to house bib. Tried several times over the past couple of years to contact Husky and not a single response. Very frustrating.
Bought new manifold and installed this week. Fixed cycling issue as new manifold is the upgrade version and has adjustment screw. Unit still has issue and will not go into high pressure mode when selecting high pressure on the wand. Does anyone have any suggestions?
I cycled power on and off once or twice for a second or two, while trigger was depressed, and it goes into hi pressure 90% of the time - at least on mine unit.

I've experienced the problem with only the green light illuminating. What I found was the pressure switch, which turns the pump on/off, needed cleaning. This switch is located inside the case, down near where the water intake is. Remove the 7(?) screws that hold the case together. Next, remove the clamp that holds the switch to the output housing. Now pull out the piston assembly and clean using a q-tip. While this is apart, use an ohmmeter to check the switch.
