unreliable/ repair improbable

We purchased a dishwasher from Lowes in November of 2011.  It has cease to work twice since the original purchase.  Both time it was the panel in the front of the washer.  I use to like Maytag as a reliable machine I now know it has gone the way of all things.  This time it has been out for about three weeks and now I have been informed that the part ison backorder and will not be available for another week.  It has convinced me that I WILL NEVER AGAIN BUY MAYTAG PRODUCTS.
