I received a voice message stating if I did call within a time frame they would be coming to my office or home with paperwork for a court appearance or be submitting a file in criminal court for an outstanding debt. He used the name of Joseph Wyatt at 1-855-242-7385. I know this is not a criminal matter.

It also prohibits debt collectors from making threats they can't or don't carry out.
Since they contacted you, they have 5 days to send you the FDCPA required letter, notifying you of the alleged debt, and of your right to dispute and request proof you owe it.
A phone call doesn't relieve them of that obligation.
