There is clearly NO way to stop these scammer. Don't hang up, or try to add to do not call list. Press 1 for operator,  and see how long you can make them talk to you. Ask questions, provide fake numbers and eventually they will get hostile and call you names.  The only way we can stop this is to collectively waste their time to make it coat prohibitive to perform this scam.

    I get calls for Health Insurance, Student Loans, Tech Support, and Investment Opportunties.  All are from numbers owned by Broadwing Communications.  I have decided to start calling the registered agent for them in my state for each and every call.  The registered agent in Missouri for Broadwing Communications is CT Corporation System in Clayton, MO.  https://bsd.sos.mo.gov/Common/CorrespondenceI ... 83483&version=1 The agents name is Kristen Bolden and the number is 314-863-5545.  I would encourage you to contact them and complain.
