I received one of these phone calls today. When I asked them for information I.e. when I received the loan and when did they try to get the funds from my bank. They couldn't tell me anything. They said they were calling representing an attorney general trying to infirm me that I owed over $900. If I paid now they would supply me paperwork on the matter. I infirmed them that I needed the information so I coild retain an attorney. They finally said they didn't want to talk to me anymore and they would talk to to my attorney and said if they process I would end up paying $10000.00 in fees. They kicked is they had all of my information. I finally told them until they give information that I was mot paying anything and my attorney would tell them the same. They kept telling me it was a recorded line. I told them fine. When the attorney general contacts them, they could play for them. That if I am being charged with a crime. I have a right to know.
they called from a number with a 520 area code. Last time I checked we have a right to information before we are charged with something.
