Weird Text with my name

I got a text from this phone number and did a little digging around to see what was going on.  The text says "Hey, Shavon give us a call, We might have work for you".  Weird because what kind of company sends you a text like that for a potential position.  Has to be a scam.

      Yes, it’s a scam I have been Job hunting so it sorta got me. But hopefully I blocked it on time as all should! Better not to open the message if you catch it.

    "Hello I believe this is Angelina W cell?"
    "Yes. Who is this?"
    "Good Day. My name is Jeremy Watson and I'm contacting you from Eco Science Solutions Company. Congratulations, I'm pleased to let you know our company's Human Resources found a resume posted by you fit for open positions in our company. We believe you are qualified to participate in our job screening process for considerations. Please let me know if interested at this time..."

    LOL a qualified company would not send a text like this. Good day to you sir!

      Wow! Word for word of the text I received, just with a woman’s name. Sheesh! Getting tired of these employment scams!

    I also received a text with my name and the claim of available work. The number was 859-904-8967. I agree it must be a scam.

    Me : indeed
    Then : Good day, My name is Jeremy Watson and i'm contacting you from Humana Healthcare. Congratulations, i'm pleased to let you know our company's Human Resources found a resume posted by you fit for open positions in our company. We believe you are qualified to participate in our job screening process for considerations. Please let me know if interested at this time...

    I am no fool. And I would actually like to know how these companies are obtaining my number from “secure” job boards to begin with. Please, everyone. do not pursue

    I got the same text from "Jeremy Watson" claiming to be from Humana Insurance, played along for long enough to gather that it's a work from home scam.  I'm not sure if they're after a fee or phishing for access to your computer, he wanted me to attend an online interview but he requires that you have a Gmail account to participate?  He told me there were job openings at my current location and I told him definitely not, I live in a small rural town with no companies other than local businesses.  Then he said it's a work from home position and they're hiring "from every state" and he assumes working from home will not be an issue.  He finally stopped texting me when I told him I don't have a computer at home. Whoever it is is getting contact info from Indeed, that's the only place I have a resume posted online.

    I just got a text from this number too. Started "I believe this is (my name's) cell phone." I replied "who is this" their response "Good day, My name is Jacob Oliver and it's with great pleasure to let you know this is regarding a job opening in Humana Healthcare. Congratulations, i wish to inform you the company's Human Resources found a resume posted by you fit for open positions in our company. We believe you are qualified to participate in our job screening process for considerations. Please let me know if interested at this time.."

      I got that exact same message from the same name. I replied that if you saw my resume then just email me the info bec I don't want to waste my time on something that most likely is a scam!Thing is, I tried to block but can't seem too.

    I received the same text but from "George Newton".  I also received several e-mails warning of such scams from my state's Department of Unemployment Resources.  They said fake companies had been admitted access to HireNet and were running these scams.  While HireNet claims the source has been banned, I keep getting these types of texts.  They further go on to say "no one's personal information has been compromised."  Well, clearly it has.

    I received the same text word-for-word except the name I was  given was "Daniel."
    Thanks for the help, guys. Wish we could get this scammer's number deactivated.
