Bought from Boston Store 2-leather couches.  The leather on the middle section started to flake.  These were purchased 5+ years earlier but are rarely used 6 months of the year.  They are not in direct sunlight, smoke free environment.  Didn't purchase warranty as I thought they were quality and from Italy.  WRONG!  Up against a brick wall as Boston Store is stating I need to contact the manufacturer who is in Italy so they pretty much don't want to deal with issue.  I will be printing all these complaints and head back to Boston Store to prove a point that this is not a one time problem.

    ditto!  bought a collection of bonded leather about 8 years ago.  seats are tearing and peeling.  took great care of them, manufacturer's recommendations.  religiously covered with organic cotton throws when used.  i will certainly write the davini chateau d'ax company on the quality of their products.  they are great on style but the "tanned leather from italy" stated on the label is suspect especially since they are "assembled in china".  just sayin.
