I keep getting magazines from some company that I do not know how to get a hold of. The central rewards scam is the only thing I can think of-I played along with them until half way through the conversation they wanted me to agree over the phone and I hung up and called the numbers of the companies to end my "subscriptions." I thought that was the end, since I never agreed to anything and canceled any possible subscriptions (I gave them my card number, unfortunately) I even canceled my debit card! But there have been magazines showing up at my house ever since! I don't get charged anything on my bank account but can't help to wonder what this scam is up to next. DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW TO STOP THEM FROM SENDING STUFF TO YOU?

They are trying to create the appearance that you "agreed" to whatever subscriptions they think they can stick you with.  Since you didn't agree to anything, sooner or later this will end in some fake "debt collector" attempting to extort payment from you.  That is how these scams are set up.  On top of cancelling every subscription the set up, you might contact FTC now.

Using the U.S. Mail in a fraudulent scheme, whether to deliver unwanted product that they intend to bill for, or to send a fraudulent bill demanding payment for it, is known as mail fraud.  Unordered deliveries of merchandise are defined as "gifts" by postal regulations.

If they send you a bill for products you never ordered, file a complaint with the U.S. Postal Inspector.

In June I got a call saying I had said I wanted their shopping program and charged me $2.00. He stressed that I would not get any magazines over and over again. I had to agree to everything that was offered to me or they would have to start over again so I did. They also had my credit card number. I started getting magazines anyway so I checked my bank statement and sure enough there were charges on it for all these companies amounting to $90. I called five different companies to cancel and they did so and put the money back into my account.
I got a call at 6:30 this morning from Central Rewards saying I had to cancell today or Iwould be charged. I told him I thought I had cancelled every company. He said I hadn't cancelled Central Rewards. I was to answer OK to everything which was several magazines travel, shopping etc. They gave me several numbers to cancel but each one was disconnected or wrong.  Now I don't know what to do. The man was the manager but I didn't get his name. They gave me a varification code too then hung up. I'm really worried that I'm going to be charged for a whole new set of magazines, etc. I'm at a loss to know if he cancelled Central Rewards or not.

go to your bank tell them what happened and cancel your debit card immediately, so that if they try to charge you they can't. Also dispute any charges for the magazines or whatever they have charged you for and close your checking account and open both new checking and debit cards.

I got the same $500 voucher offer from them and I made a mistake of giving them my credit card detail but when they asked me to say yes to all the automated questions , something in my mind said this is not good. I finally didn't say yes to any of the questions and hung up. They can't charge you if you don't agree to say yes to every question.
Next day, I told my bank that I have lost my card and requested for replacement credit card with different number.
Now those a******* from credit rewards keep on calling me from 8557911191.
All I do is laugh at them like a monster and end the call with famous F word.

    Upset person
He didn't cancel your central rewards...he now has a recording or you agreeing to buy new stuff.  He tired to do that to me today...when I said no he got back on the phone and started yelling at me.  He is trying to scam you. I called my local police department and requested my report be sent to Pembroke Pines police department ( that is the location to his set up). make complaint to BBB.org,  I cancelled all my credit cards and got new ones.  If I was you I would do the same plus recall all companies to report fraud like you did the last time.  Best of luck

They keep calling me for the last days.  I get in arguments with the caller and his manager.  I wouldn't give them the card number or expiration date.  The manager said he was charging my card $20.00 and hung up on me.  I don't think its possible to charge me without me giving him the numbers.  But i'm still pretty pissed off with these criminals calling me.

Today, I received a call saying that I will be getting a $500 grocerries gift card which i can use at walmart or jcpenneys. All I have to pay is $4.95. They asked me for my first name, middle name, last name as it appears on my card; the card details and expiration date. when i asked them for website, they said, it is under construction. I did a mistake by giving them all the details... However, thank God!!! that somehow my mind started telling me this might go wrong... then I started reading these complaints from all of you just after I hang up the call from these THIEVES, so I called up the bank and got my debit card blocked... In all this processing, already a $1 transaction is made by these THIEVES... and bank promised me that I just need to claim a complaint and I will get refund of $1.

Same story except somehow they got my wifes credit card numbers back in July 2011. I don't even know her numbers. They ravaged us for around $630.00 before we caught them deducting from our checking account without her authorization. I felt so stupid. I cancelled our checking account and got new cards. I filed a claim complaint through my bank and after two months, Central Rewards put the money back into the frozen account. I guess they knew I was serious. My bank saw this and we then pulled the money out and closed it for good. They still call saying I breached this contract, but I ask you... why did they put the money back if they are right? Now today, I got a letter from Ms. James that tells me they want $301.00 to close the account, still trying to extort money from me. Now I am pissed and every agency I can file a complaint with is going to hear it.

They called me today and went through their manipulation about how it's perfectly fine to give them the information and that it is 100% confidential. So I gave them all my info after getting in a fight with almost everyone they put me in contact with. When they were giving me all their crap about the confirmation numbers and yada yada yada. When they told me that I had to say yes to three different ads that they were going to have me listen to, I thought that was mighty fishy. So after 45 minutes of CRAP, I hung up and went to the bank, cancelled my card. However, they did charge me $1 and my bank (USBank) said that to call the 24 hour number and file a Reg E dispute. So, if you have USBank and this happens that is what you have to file in order to get that money back. It's only a buck, but it's MY buck. Thank goodness I had this website up when I was talking to them and I told them that this was a scam and how there were hundreds of different scam reports and he said that those people where just stupid for not cancelling. I was taken aback that a professional would say that about reward customers. That was another reason why I'm happy I hung up. I'm pretty relieved that I hung up before I answered those 3 questions.
