BuildDirect Sold Me Defective Flooring

I purchased about 2000 sq feet of Build Directs Vanier Cosmopolitan Santos Mahogany engineering flooring. Please note that this is not cheap stuff. In fact it cost the same or MORE than the product offered to me by the flooring contractors. It was mostly installed when I started to notice cracks, and even delamination where the top wood layer actually comes up from the suface of the underlying plywood. The installation was stopped, and Build Direct dragged their feet for weeks (as the floor continued to crack and delaminate) until an inspector showed up. His report made no conclusions about the cause and responsibility for the issues on the flooring. Build Direct however blamed the installer.
I hired an independent Certified hardwood flooring inspector who did an exhaustive examination of my flooring. He concluded that the dozens of delamination, and the widespread cracks were a manufacturing issue.
So let me be clear that the only opinion rendered by a certified wood flooring inspector is that the widespread delamination and cracking in my newly installed floor is due to manufacturing issues. Build Direct refuses to honor their warranty, and instead has only offered to sell me DIFFERENT wood at a discount.
Do not repeat my mistake; Do not buy from BuildDirect. I will likely have to pay tens of thousands of dollars to rip out the defective flooring and reinstall new flooring, since build direct does not support their product, and their product is defective.
