We bought a fridge from Maytag (Whirlpool) in May 2011.  It was installed in June 2011.  It broke within the first two weeks...no water to the front output and no ice being made.  A&E Service - equally as to blame in this situation, came out (after a 2 week wait) and couldn't fix it that day due to not having the part.  Repeat this exact process six times.  Maytag extended my warranty to 2013 due to the number of repairs.  The last time A&E came out - they admitted they have no idea what to do.  Every part has been replaced and they were out of ideas.  Apparently they never CALLED technical support at Maytag.  I've now been told by a separate appliance repairman that it's a fire risk - there is an electrical short that cannot be repaired.  I called Maytag and was told that they will set up another appointment with A&E and if it's working, I should continue to reschedule until it breaks.  If that doesn't happen before May 2013 - I'll be on my own.  Telling them I worry about my house burning down - didn't matter.
They are HORRIBLE.  It's such bad customer service that I hardly have words.  I'm disgusted and will not buy a product from them ever again.
Customer service rep tonight:  Well, we have to know the problem isn't fixed.
Me:  The fact they've been here six times doesn't tell you that?
CSR:  We have to have it reported by A&E.
Me:  What did they tell you last time?
CSR:  There was no report from the last visit.

It's beyond anything I've dealt with...So, we'll be out a couple thousand to get a fridge that won't burn our house down.
I want to know how to actually file a complaint that Maytag will get!
