Paying bills online

I was away on vacation and set up Rogers bill payment from my bank account. I usually don't pay my bills online, however, this once I did so to avoid penalties.
When I did not receive my bill this month, I called Rogers and they said because I paid online, if I wanted to switch back to paper bills, they would charge me $2.50 for the service.
When I paid from my bank account no warning whatsoever was posted to tell me this would happen.
Never have I encountered this gouging of customers before. Rogers is one of the worst companies I have ever dealt with. I am seriously looking into changing my service provider.
Shame on this company. I am soooo happy they no longer monopolize this service.
