Our firm received a letter demanding $ 624.99 for Yellow Pages Express for unpaid amounts.  We have to contract, unpaid invoices or othe past correspedence from either A.C.A. Recovery, Inc. or Yellow Pages Express.  This is a fraudlant activity and both of these firms have web sites and way to contact them.  Why isnt someone in a government agency closing these people's doors.

Contact FTC.  They are collecting complaints against ACA Recovery, and their various fraudulent "business directory" clients.

In addition, file a "fraudulent invoicing" complaint with the U.S. Postal Inspector.

    They are running a scam.

As long as you keep talking to them on the phone, they will assume that eventually they will either con you or wear you down and get your money.

Send notification to scammers that you dispute the alleged debt as fraudulent, and that you have filed fraud complaints with all authorities.  Then stick to that if they ever call back.

Stop acting like a sucker, and they will move on.

We just received notice of collections as well from ACA Recovery Inc for advertising we did not authorize on yellowpagesexpress.com.  We have also be receiving calls from yellowpages to "update" our information but not to collect any money.  I advised them we did not place any add at which time they hung up but then called back couple hours later.  Last person spoke with actually answered some questions - indicated that add was originally run "complimentary" for 12mths which we were at the end of.  Asked if wanted to continue the add for $459.99 I said never placed add and no to continuing.

My office received a collection letter from ACA Recovery demanding $740.00 and listed their client as yellowpagesexpress.com. It had a previous address (now 5 years old)and was forwarded by our postal carrier probably only because he knows where we are located. It named a person who was never actually employed there and who does not make business decisions and every time we receive a call asking us to confirm our business information, we decline if the called ID does not plainly state who they are and we have a prior business relationship with them. VERY important!

Curious, I did a search for my business on the yellowpagesexpress.com website and it does not exist. Even if we had agreed to purchase their services, they did not perform nullifying their claim we owe them money. I plan on turning this over to our attorney, for one we are on the Do Not Call/Do Not Fax lists so they are violating that and they are trying to extort money not owed by threat of legal action which is tantamount to fraud.

Word to the wise, when someone calls identifying themselves as a yellow pages company or representing your local phone carrier (especially if the caller Id does not match), inform them that you are on the DNC/DNF lists and to remove you and never call again or put it in writing and mail it to you, if they ask you to confirm your business address decline and hang up.

Your experience is similar to many other reports outlining a pattern of deceptive telemarketing, faked "authorizations", and fraudulent billing through the U.S. Mail (mail fraud).

Contact FTC, your state Attorney General, the New Jersey Attorney General, and the U.S. Postal Inspector.

I also received a letter from this agency. This is a total scam. It looks like they want to take advantage of corporate buracracy and hope business send them money or don't complain. Please complain to New Jersey Attorney General.

I am so glad others have written about this company. A scam. They asked for $725 for YellowPagesExpress.Com. Of course I am not even listed there, nor do I have advertising anywhere. I shall send copies to the FTC, post office and the Illinois Attorney General.
    Thanks to all.

This company is a scam . I emailed them, faxed them called them and sent a certified letter. I finally called again and they said it was resolved but will not send me anything in writing to confirm this. I think they are hoping people out investigating it more. I wrote a letter stating they had to provide proof on this debt and funny not it is resolved.

We also have received a demand for $724.99 for "YellowPagesExpress.com". This is for a company that was closed several months ago. It closed with no debts or assets. We never used yellowpagesexpress.com. ever. Check Google Earth. They operate out of a UPS store on Ridgewood Avenue. The #395 is a box number. I'm in the process of filing a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission. Just send them the same form letter over and over again and file with your State and the Federal agencies involved in scamming. Don't pay these buggers a penny. Its a rip-off.

today I received a collection notice from A.C.A.for $ 775.00. This was for LOCAL U S PAGES saying I owed this money. I never heard of Local US Pages let alone getting a invoice from them. This is not the only collection notice I got from Mr Coulter at A C A. A year ago I received a notice from him representing YELLOW PAGES EXPRESS. He seems to get all around The country with these scams.
