Lost Luggage on Qatar Airways:
To:
Qatar Airways : Chennai to Doha and
Doha – Athens.
Dear Sirs, Let me introduce myself, I am pradeepviswanahtan, residing in india,tamilnadu,sivagangadistrict,sivaganga town ,pincode -630561,Mobile No:9994606561 and I am a frequent traveller of Qatar Airways, having office work. The reason for writing this letter is to bring to your notice the loss of my luggage while I travelled from chennai to Greece,Athens via Doha Airport through flight No: QR 277. And QR 472 i.e. on 08 th January 2012 (Chennai to Doha flight No.QR277 and Doha to Athens QR472, and i had one luggage.)
Upon arrived in Athens, i discovered that my lugagge was missing, which contained all my dresses and food items and daily usage items, e.g. shaver, misc. chargers.i had to wait at the airport until the last passenger from our aircraft had left. And I found that my luggagge was missing and I had enquired at Athens airport ,but they didn’t reply properly.and I am in need of my luggage and I haven’t any dress to wear.please enquire about my lost luggage and provide my luggage as early as possible.
Accordingly, I put up a complaint at the Athens airport and I received a copy of the report with a telephone number for follow up along with the case file ref. file reference no. ATHQR13405 and phone no.302103530153;
I would like to enumerate the incident as follows:
1) 08th January 2012: departure from Chennai Qatar airways to Doha Airport and Flight
No:QR277.
2) 08th January 2012 : departure from Doha airport to Athens Airport and Flight
No:QR472
the above enumeration, you will notice that there was a big shortfall on the part of Qatar Airways.
May I bring to your kind attention that people are going on short/long vacation for certain purposes, they cannot waste their precious time communicating and following up with airlines for someone else’s mistake.
I would therefore, request that you to take appropriate action regarding this matter as I had to make alternative arrangements for the items in the missing bag, causing me great inconvenience; and awaiting your prompt response together with your proposal for due compensation, rather than I submit my claim.
