The service man said that I will have to pay for service call even though it is manufacture's warran

All this time after using Washer Dryer for many years I never thought I am supposed to pay if service man do not find any problems with the washer.The washer was making loud noise an d will not drain the water from trhe clothes properly.So I went to "Home Depot" to get the help and they made arrangement with Whirlpool to fix the problem. but  when trhe serviceman came He put the  blame on floor saying it is not the concrete floor so it is moving.When the installers from Home Depot brought the washer and dryer , they never discussed about the floor. or need the pad to prevent  machine from moving out of the place, I wish I never bought "Whirlpool appliance." I thought everything is under warranty  for  first year and I should not have any problem from anyone. It should be troublefree one year.
