Left message on both my cell phones, stated they are "tracing efforts to my whereabouts" and if they dont get any information they can legally call all my references. They left a message on my sister's phone. Sounds like a scam! I dont owe anyone any money

    They have lots of similar complaints..
    Profile is typical of fraudulent "debt collection" shakedown scams.
    They try to sound "legal" to imply you're supposedly being "sued", to panic victims into paying them money with no proof it's even owed.
    You don't owe them, and you didn't give them or any past lender these "references" they're threatening to call.  They're just looking up relatives or employers in skip-trace databases, and pretending those were "references".
    It's a con, most effective with people who may have once had payday loans, who might be convinced they're trying to collect on some old one they "forgot".  That's why they never provide any verifiable information of the alleged "loan".  You're supposed to imagine what it is.
