All they want is your money I have belonged to 4 fitness centers and LA fitness is the worst... I still have 30 sessions left to use and don't really want to be a member there again ... I had called there corpt HQ to let them know i would no longer be attending.. do to Military stuff. Payed my 12 month bill in full.

I stopped going and had to call their corpt complain and let them know my concerns with there fitness center with there horrible customer service with getting Mean worded  calls about not paying my monthly free the lady was leaving very mean worded messages on my phone I finally had enough ... but i had payed it in full when i had talked to corpt... and told them I am not longer interested in going to that gym and would wait for a new one to be built to finish my session.... I would of just liked to get my money refund back Instead but that was not a choice at the time.  LA Fitness IN APPLE VALLEY is the Worst ... When i did attend I had a trainer but they would not show up on time ....also was stopped two or more times at door because my member ship card did not work for some reason.... they would have to re-issue it again and a again ... My trainer made a pass at me as well ... I went there to get fit not pursued and have to deal with this customer service issue.... I had 4 different trainer when I was attending do to they never stayed around .....

In the end I just hated the LA Fitness In apple valley horrible service and I think its would be good if they had some more training In there additional and trainers should be Certified...

I enmpathize with you...I had been a memeber on the La Mesa place and I get the same lack of manners, rudness and "kids" as trainers that don't care and I ended up having to go to the MD for neck problems !!

    Hi All,

My girlfriend has joined training session at LA fitness. While joining she told specifically that she want a flexible session where she can cancel the class at any point of time. There should not be any contract.  LA fitness officials will talk very sweet when you are going for new membership or class. But that fellow cheated and he has added an 1 year contract with the training class without notifying .  He asked her to sign for that money she has paid for the training class. But that signature for the contract which he has added to the training class. Now when she want to cancel the training class members of LA fitness are so rude that they are not willing to talk also. They are simply blaming us that we have signed an contract and we are cancelling the contract because we dont want it. This is ridiculous . Those fellow talk so cheap that a girl cant tolerate those words. There in no one in there corporate office as well to listen to us. Those fellow have lost there humanity for money which they are getting.

Is there anyone who can guide me to stop this session class so that i can save money.

I signed up for personal training with LA Fitness, Landmark, on Little River Turnpike, Alexandria, VA. I contracted for eight paid sessions a month.  I also received 12 free sessions which was mutually agreed that these sessions would be once a week for 3 months.   After three sessions, the trainer failed to show up for the fourth session.   He did train me the following day and threw in the next day session as compensation for blowing me off.   He again failed to show up for the very next session.  I complained to the Personal Training Director and he said he was short staffed and did not have a trainer for me and he agreed with me to cancel the contract.  I contacted corporate and after many unturned calls, they eventually stated they would calculate how many sessions I had and would charge me accordingly.  I thought this was bad business since the ink had barely dried on the contract.  As I was waiting to hear back, they charged me for another month of training, which of course I never received.  I called corporate and was told that a trainer was now available.  I stated it had been three weeks and not only was it unacceptable to expect me to wait three weeks, but that no one had called me.  I was told that I should have called the club, but I asked why should I since the last conversation I had with the director was that there were no sessions available.   After numerous requests that the regional manager call me, he eventually called.  However, he over spoke and was by far the rudest representative of club I had dealt with.  I asked for a fact to face as he had mistakenly calculated the number of sessions I had received.  I insisted he pick the date and time, but he also failed to show up for our meeting.  He didn't have the personal responsibility or professionalism to even call to say he was late.   Two days later he called and I was so frustrated with this matter that I just hung up on him.  He called back and I told him not to call me again after he stated my account was going to collection.  I had informed him, in writing, that I had disputed the charges on my credit card.  In addition to the letter I sent to him, I also sent copies to the top three executives in LA Fitness, Office of Consumer Affairs - Virginia, ABC 7 News, and my credit card.  I consulted with an attorney and was advised the club breached the contract, not me, and that they don't get to wait indefinitely to provide a trainer.  I have decided to pursue a small claims action against them.  I’m preparing for my second deployment to Afghanistan and wanted to be in top shape and had hoped using a personal trainer would facilitate my training.  LA Fitness is extremely unprofessional and their lack of timely communication to resolve this issue is deplorable.

I’m interested in how your case was resolved. Did you win the case? Did you happen to get charged for sessions that never occurred? I discovered some fraudulent records for sessions that never took place and am wondering if others have run to the same issue with LA fitness trainings. My issue is with the Landmark branch similar to yours.

I have been working out with friends at a local La Fitness for a couple years. About 3 months ago I added Guest Privileges to my account there. I did that so I could bring my girlfriend to the gym on days I'm not working out so she could get some exercise. Well we were just asked to leave by one of the personal trainers because I'm not allowed to "train" her because it takes away from their business. I'm far from a professional lifter/body builder. Just some guy that works out there after work. They said things like she could be paying me on the side to train her. I told them she's my girlfriend and she has no history of working out and doesn't really know what to do so I'm showing her. I was spotting her while she did weighted lunges when we were approached. He literally took the weight off her shoulders. If he wasn't in his LA fitness personal trainer shirt I would have gotten in his face. After my 3 buddies get off work I'm going to tell them and we will all be leaving. There is a 24/hour gym closer to me anyway.

I just had me and my girl working out...we looked to fit to be training...was told i cant workout with her or spot her...LaFitness isnt the problem ...its certain people hired that discriminate about people who experience in working out...and others envy them and not them in the gym....Buckhead LAF GM was helpful but training mgr Q in Atlanta has major issues with guys in shape that stand out.
