Excessive commercials

I think that if we pay for TV we should not have commercials. My family and I watch tv together but my children loss interest after sitting thru 16 consecutive commercials. I'm tired of rerun but do I really have to have all the commercials. If I want to buy a product it's because I see it at the store. I'm tired of paying for something I'm not getting. Just movies.
