Don't even think about buying this

May 2012 we purchased the dark brown Adrianna 6 piece leather sectional from Macy's which is made by Chateau Dax. After two months we received the sofa. One piece was a different color, another slightly different deimensions and another wrinkled beyond belief. We sceheduled a replement set which was delivered another 2 months later. This set however was even worse the first. Of the 4 cartons the delivery guy opened three were damaged. One had a 9 inch long and 2 inch wide (light beige) wrinkle that screamed against the dark brown, one had a rather large dent in the cushion and another had more wrinkles similar to the first. Also, overall there were splotches of light beige in various spots that had no dye. We of course refused the entire 2nd set. Meantime, we spoke to the sales mgr at Macy's in Paramus NJ who said they never had an issue with Cahteau Dax furniture. LOL, that is just too funny!! Anyway, we took a good close look at the original sectional that we are about to return and lo and behold... there are several sections of the sitting areas where the leather/ color looks like it chipped off and a light beige color is glaring thru. So why is this so called top grain leather sofa which is supposedly soaked in dye vats chipping off? Because the color is actually sprayed on not soaked in! Oh and by the why this Italian manufactured sofa says made in China on the tags. Meantime, we are done with Chateau Dax and done with Macy's. We wasted four months with this bargain basement garbage and deceitful sales people at Macy's! We couldn't be more pisssed off!!!!!
