These are scammers posting fake ads for puppies and other pets on craigslist.

If they refuse to meet you, or won't talk to you on the phone (will only text or email), or insist that you pay a "shipper" or "transport" (via gift card, prepaid card or wire transfer) - they are scammers.

Those pictures of cute puppies (or whatever pets they claim to sell) may be stolen from another site.  Do an image search on the pic. (If you use Google Chrome, right-click on the pic and select "Search Google for image.")

The scammers might claim to be in the military and say they're about to be transferred or deployed overseas.

If you can't meet them locally - don't bother!
(Better to check your local animal shelter or humane society if you want a pet.)
