I too was charged for canceling my reservation. I made the reservation online. $640 for 2 rooms, 3 nights which is MORE than my confirmation. And I never received a confirmation email regarding the reservation. I've been getting the run around since I called the hotel to see why they charged me. Was told to EMAIL the supervisor. Been going back and forth with her still. The last email she sent said that when I made the reservation VIA PHONE they tell you the cancelation policy then. I didn't make the reservation VIA PHONE. She is so contradictory in her emails it's sad. Also pitiful that they can't even call so I can talk to a real person. I will NEVER EVER stay at a Days Inn. I will also file a complaint to the BBB. It makes me sick to my stomach. I don't have $640 to just throw around. If I did I would give it to my son that just graduated Navy Bootcamp, hence the visit to Illinois. So very disappointed.
