Mortgage under water but never been late paying it.

Why is there not any help for those who have never been late on their mortgage but, is under water.  Bank of America needs to help these people (me) in someway.  I contacted bank of America by phone.  Was disconnected 2 times and transferred to 2 times to the wrong departments. I asked if my loan could be modified the answer was a very rude NO because I was not behind on my payments.  Then I asked if I could refinance a very rude NO again.  Why is that only those who are in foreclosure only get the help.  It is not my fault that the property of homes has decreased 50%.  At least Bank of America could offer a percentage taken off of the principal each month or some type of incentive to make you want to continue paying.  More people in my same situation are going to walk away like me) even though we can afford the monthly payment.  Let B of A  deal with it.  Bank of America you treat your good customers like crap.
