Ford motor credit. Yah right! They don't even know what I'm talking about when I call and ask but MacDowell and Associates has managed to file into separate counties now two different dollar amounts  without ever being served and they're garnishing my wages. They have renewed at this judgment three different times in three different courthouses  none of which I was never aware of until years after the fact  the first garnishment they managed to obtain on an expired writ of execution that's 7 years expired and when the Sacramento Sheriff's Department  notice this  they stopped it immediately  not to my human resources of course I had to file an emergency bankruptcy to get them to stop and this is something from 28 years ago.  I worked at Ford I didn't owe them any money  I bought two cars from them since.
Not only are they doing this to me but they're doing this to a friend of mine and his dates back to 2008. They managed to obtain a judgment against him with photo copy paper work and like me he was never served
How can someone go to court and defend themselves if they never are aware of a court date and the paperwork that I was receiving has a different case numbers on it so anytime I call the courthouse to research it there was never a case number like mine because they were using a different number already in a different Courthouse if they're doing this to me and it's in two different counties now Sacramento and La one of the judgments as for 22000 and 1 is 424 and they're taking my money every weekend of my paycheck and I can't get it to stop and they're doing this to other people they're getting rich it's not fair and it's frustrating and if there's anyone else out there that is going through something like this with MacDowell and Associates please respond

It sounds like they're violating various laws, including FDCPA for both deceptive collection and filing in counties you're not in and with no connection to the alleged "debt".  Not clear whether it's a "mistake", "id theft", or just a "sewer service" attorney run amuck, but you may be able to sue, but you'll need a good attorney to unwind it and recover damages.  In addition, if this "judgement" was included in your bankruptcy filing, that also should have ended it.

In addition, California recently passed a law extending the period during which you can reopen erroneous judgements due to misidentification or id theft.  It is now a period following when you found out about it, not limited by the original judgement date.

If they have obtained multiple (erroneous) garnishment orders, they may be taking more than even statutorily allowed.  Most states have a cap on how much total can be garnished, typically around 25%.

Still, if the judgements were obtained through fraud ("sewer service", multiple judgements for the same original debt, etc.), or against some other party but executed against you instead, that's what you want to attack.
