While I was on the phone with my credit card company over a charge made on Nov. 24, they tell me this company AGAIN tried to hit my card with another charge on Nov. 30.  These people must be stopped!!
I will also contact the appropriate agencies.

I did not accept an offer from either Seatle coffee or Java Beanery direct - and yet a charge for $79.00 appeared on my debit card statement on Dec. 1, 2009.  Note also that on 11/30/09 an unauthorized charge for $79.00 appeared for a company called publicationsmax.com.  If you ggogle them you'll find similar fraud complaints.

The companies are all subsiduaries of Peel inc.  I contacted this guy and got my $79.00 returned in just under 72 hours:

Illinois Attorney General Madigan has sued Peel, Inc. and its president, Brian Dale.

If you lost money due to unauthorized charges, file a complaint with the Illinois Attorney General, but still make sure you dispute any charges through your bank immediately, since if the company turns out to be insolvent, bank disputes within 60 days may still push the loss back on this company's payment processor and retrieve your money.
