My phone number IS on the FTC Do-Not-Call registry and had been for over 5 years!  Phone rang, I answered on 2nd ring and said 'Hello' twice.  After a few seconds, I heard a machine generated female voice state "goodby" and the line went dead.  Added this number to my "blocked" list.
