Unsolicited Phone Calls

The first call: Caller id showed “cell phone 651-528-9844”.  I answered it, and It was a robo-call.  I purposely pressed 9 to get a representative.  This connected me a man with an Indian accent, who said his name was Peter.  He said that wanted to help me “lower my interest rate on my Visa or MasterCard”. I played along. He first asked for my card’s expiration date.  I gave that to him.  Then I "accidentally" hung up on him (on purpose!)  He immediately called me back, and this time the caller id showed “Usman Ahmed 800-847-2911”. He then he asked for my credit card’s 16 digit number, for my VISA  that starts with a "4".  I said that I needed to get my credit card out of my wallet, and that I would have to set the phone down.  I again purposefully hung up on him, to get him to call me back again.  This time the caller id showed: “VISA 800-847-2911”.  I let him continue with his business pitch, but I eventually hung up on him again.  The last time he did not call me back.
