I was told by Bank Of America that they have to continue to authorize charges from Digital Star becuase they have no way of knowing if a charge is fraudulent or not. This is also why the bank will not stop the transaction during the processing period. The charge has to complete and then a dispute must be filed.

Digital Star is an overseas company doing bussiness in the United States as a ticket broker ; selling tickets to sold out events, concerts, shows, etc. If you have ever heard of Stub Hub they are acting as a similar company. The amount of transactions they are processing is extremely high for a bussiness of this type which should also raise a red flag with these banks and credit card companies.

You would think the banks would have some common  sense in this situation though. Digital Star is getting authoriztions for hundreds of transactions in the past 4 weeks and has obviously hundreds of charge-backs from banks of those effected. They need to be shut down plain and simple but I do not think the banks care.

We need a smart tech savy person that knows how to track down the owner of a website domain name because whoever is behind this site is the culprit or knows something about these crimes.

Also the criminal behind this has obviously must have a bank account at a bank somewhere so he/she can pick up the money they are receiving. Money moves between these banks using routing numbers and account numbers. It should not be that difficult for each of our banks to determine not only what bank our money has gone to but also the exact account it was placed in. Simply wait at that bank for a person to attempt to withdraw funds from that account and then proceed to break every bone in their body and slowly kill the MF'er

That is a really stupid response, especially when they have probably had hundreds of fraud disputes against charges from this "company".

ALL of the charges by "Digital Star" are fraudulent.
The company isn't even in business anymore.
You can find on-line reports that the LLC was "dissolved" on 1-29-12.

It appears that some crooks have been using it's merchant account to run through lots of fraudulent charges ever since.

Have BofA block all your debit cards.  They are not as safe as credit cards.
Do NOT have your debit cards replaced.

Use only credit cards for online or retail purchases.
Bet they will protect their own money better than they protect yours.

If you bank's debit card products are defective, due to lax security, vote with your money.
Block and stop using debit cards.

Numerous similar reports of fraudulent charges are being reported on other threads.  It appears that "Digital Star Ltd." was "dissolved" on Jan. 29, 2012.  It looks like their merchant account is now under control of criminals submitting fraudulent charges.

    Main thread:

If you are getting fraudulent charges, IMMEDIATELY block the card number, and submit a fraud dispute to your bank.  Your bank can reverse fraudulent charges if you dispute promptly.
