Fan does not work

My wife and I ordered the fan and we were excited to put it up however when we got it up it only worked on low speed. We took it back to Home Depot and exchanged it for another one. We put the other one up and again it only worked on low speed.  We call Hampton Bay and they said it was the receiver.  They sent another receiver and we replaced it however it still didnt work.  We are frustrated with the fan and will not buy another one.  We took it back and got one from Lowes.
