I fell for it and sent $334 to get a puppy for my autistic brother and they called saying I needed to pay an additional $650 that I didn’t have. I’m making a police report

Yep they posted in Seattle Craigslist as being local and they are giving these dogs to a good home. Now they are in West Virginia. Total scam
Yes, she's on craigslist Florida too. Trying to say she took over her brother's puppies who passed away from cancer. They are monsters...it really hit a nerve since I am looking for my son who has luekima. I called her out on it. Just changed the breed of puppies and the email, the ad is still worded the same. UGH!!!!
I Googled her email address and found her (of course, don't know if she is male or female) email address all over as a pet scammer. Yes, it is best to deal with legitimate animal rescues. I never tried to get a dog from her or did any business with her, but I emailed back that I knew she (or he) was a scammer and then I said, "I just sent 5 million dollars to your Nigerian bank." So she emails back and says, "Are you sure your entire family can raise 5 million dollars in case you are in deep [***]? Just curious." So I guess she's trying to threaten me. (My entire family couldn't raise 50 dollars! She needs to scam rich people).
jenniferozbim21@gmail.com and loura_jane@yahoo.com are the same person. Scamming people all over the country, maybe the whole world. Most likely operating out of computer cafes in India or Nigeria. Please report any scams. Check with your local SPCA about legitimate animal rescue centers in your area.
