Today mark my full month trying to get warranty repair on my Powerwasher PW1600H-CA (S/N: 08101704646M) that I purchased from Home Depot last June.

The unit starts having problem just on the second use. That's before the winter. Motor start but water on outlet is inconsistent with little or no pressurization. Nozzle and gun are checked and appeared normal without blockage. Inlet filter is checked and without blockage.  Water flow pressure to the unit is normal and sufficient. And the motor seems to start and stop as normal.

It took 7 days with 4 emails to get a respond with a troubleshooting tip (try to use the powerwasher direct plug-in without any extension or with any other equipment) which I did and with no mention of how I can get the unit repair under warranty that I specifically requested.

So I email them on Mar 16, and with 6 repeated emails on requesting warranty service with absolutely no respond up till today (Apr 8). That's 23 days without a single reply. And that is even I got so frustrated that I indicated I will complain publicly.

So don't tell me to contact you at cservice@fna-group.com or support@fna-group.com like I read elsewhere on the web because I already did 11 times totally.

Consider yourself at a total lost if you are like me.

    Today is Apr. 16 and I'm finally been able to be in touch with FNA group customer support. Thanks Michael from Home Depot for the great help here. Me and Zac from FNA were able to confirm the unit is defective through trouble shooting on the phone and now I'm waiting for the shipping label to arrive so to get the unit back for no-charge warranty repair.

    My Husky Powerwasher 1650psi unit, bought April 2003, runs but only a small mist-like spray comes out of the nozzle.  In July 2008, I bought a new Gun and Hose Assembly, Part #7000128, and that fixed the problem.  I think I need another Gun now.  Can I purchase just the Gun without the Hose Assembly?

    Dear Donald Tylor,

    Yes you should be able to buy the gun separtely from the hose however, not all models could come apart. To check, on the bottom of the gun portion, right next to where the hose goes in to the handle, there should be a little red locking tab. If the gun you have has this tab, then the hose can be removed by sliding that tab back and pulling the hose straight out, and the gun can be replaced without the hose. If not, then both would need to be replaced.

    I too bought a Powerwasher PW1600H-CA and during the first use the pressure stopped. We also checked everything and it there are no blockages, etc. The online support was like talking to a robot; they didn't even read what I was writing, they just sent me the troubleshooting pages from the manual, which I had already gone through. Finally was able to get from them that I probably need a new pump.
    How could something need a new pump on the first use!
    I can only assume it's an inferior product since I don't seem to be the only one.
