I have been having an issue with verizon since i came back from deployment in 2012, they cut my phone on while I was deployed and i came back to an outrageous phone bill of $600 and never was my bill that expensive as long as i had been with them since 2008. They asked me to fax proof that I was deployed so I did that several times got responses back but they did not fix my situation and here it is 2016..

Verizon has a history of complaints alleging they have failed to terminate accounts when requested and rung up additional charges for unused "service". The Soldier and Sailors Relief Act might not exactly cover this case, but an inquiry from a congressional staffer might push this into the right hands to deal with it properly.
