Contact your state Attorney General or District Attorney.

Similar complaints against both, indicating fraudulent telemarketing and "debt collection".

What you have is essentially a fraudulent invoicing scam, run in concert with a willing debt collector.

Be aware that "business directory" scams, including this one, often use doctored, edited, clipped, or selectively played and misrepresented recordings to attempt to convince their targets that some employee has "approved" some alleged "verbal contract".

The actual "sales calls" were generally some innocuous call "to verify your information", or sometimes allege that they are only calling "to renew your listing", falsely claiming you had "agreed" to a listing before.

Generally the terms are not disclosed, or in the less blatant of these scams, they are disclosed in a quickly read script AFTER you "verify your information", and they then cut off the recording before the target can protest.

There are a number of reports that their debt collector is also claiming they "have a recording".

This debt collector apparently collects "debts" not only for goyellowpages.com, but also for Regional Yellow Pages.  Look THEM up.

They have numerous complaints on various forums alleging fraudulent telemarketing in connection with a "business directory" scam.  They are also reported to pass their "accounts" off to a debt collector, ACA Recovery, that is reported to collect for both this operation, and a second "business directory" scam, Regional Yellow Pages, with a record of Attorneys General settlements.

Since ACA has two of these shady customers, and has had them for some time, the debt collector appears to be aware of the fraudulent nature of the accounts they are collecting on.  They have been reported to use the same "we have your recorded authorization" ploy used by the original scammers.

Report fraudulent invoices sent through the U.S. Mail to the U.S. Postal Inspector.  Report fraudulent telemarketing to FTC, your state Attorney General, and the Attorneys General of the state of the perpetrators.  The FBI's White Collar Crime Unit is responsible for federal investigation of telemarketing fraud, and has investigated, and assisted DOJ in prosecuting, a number of fraudulent telemarketers employing doctored or fraudulent "phone recordings".

According to BBB, goyellowpages is in the Miami Florida area.
ACA Recovery is in New Jersey.

Another similar scam, "Goam Media", also based in south Florida but with possible Canadian connections, was sanctioned by FTC last summer.  This company's activities started ramping up several months later.  Name is similar, but it is not clear whether there is any connection.

If you didn't agree to pay for any "listing", then you also didn't agree to any "fee" for not paying.  The additional "fee" is as phony as the original one.

That is tossed in to panic you into paying a suspicious "bill" immediately, rather than researching to determine its legitimacy.  Same reason ACA puts Mr. Kalina "of councel" on their letters.  Why don't you give Mr. Kalina a call and ask him if he is still "of councel"?  You deserve to know.
