MELTING SOLES

I bought. Two pair of grey/yellow oxfords at sports authority. Put one pair in the closet and wore the other pair. After a couple of years it was time to toss the pair i had been wearing and get out the other pair. The pair in the closet, it turns out had melting soles! I called the company and they said "yeah, happens if you don't wear them. Just wear them." if i try to wear them i will leave black sticky pieces of the soles everywhere. I have never had this problem with other brand shoes.     Do not buy redwing shoes.
