Verizon canceled my contract a couple of days after I tried to pay on my bill

Verizon canceled my contract shortly after they had quoted  $392.00 to have my services restored ,when I tried to pay the money which was the next day, they gave me the the run around ,transferring my call from one department to the next , finally after a few days of calling I was told that my account was sent to collections . Here's when the fun started I was told by a young lady named Tiffany in the recovery department, in order to get my services restored ,VERIZON was willing to settle my account for over $600 the exact amount I can't remember at this time . So I agreed to pay $95.00 a month until the balance is paid off , to keep this from going on my credit record ,The young lady informed me that after my account was paid in full (the contract money) I would have to pay for activation for the phone service ,I DON'T WANT IT EVER . Oh yeah I checked my balance and my payments are not being deducted properly , I don't know who to call because no one there at customer service can tell you anything !!
