Company profiling during internet search

I had called the yellow pages a year and a half ago to have my company name available to their on-line directory. An AT&T sales representative called to tell me about their on-line profiling services via several search engines, especially Google. She went through a verbal agreement that was recorded and I provided my credit card number. Billing commenced and the ad surfaced on the internet. The problem was that my company profile was all wrong. As a landscape designer I provided a bullet point list of my services, none of which included "flowers" or "poured concrete". Months went by and my sales rep was conveniently not available. AT&T apparently has a policy that only the sales rep who sold the service can respond to the client. I "lost" my credit card and would not provide the new number. Suddenly she was available to talk. Her manager became involved due to my insistence. His first response was that she was his best sales rep and my allegations could not possibly be true. I surmised that this was a top down problem. This impression was reinforced when the manager's manager got involved. Ultimately the ad was rendered accurate after another individual became involved. Three months of a credit was issued. And all seemed well. Well, almost.
I renewed the contract for a reduced monthly amount and insisted on paying via a paper bill. The billing service out of California was prompt in sending the bills and I was prompt in paying. After what I had gone through the previous year to get my profile adjusted, I did not check my profile until a few months went by - huge mistake and horrendously bad judgement on my part for there is no profile at all.
When I reported this to my sales rep she said that she would check into it. The bills keep coming. I send the hard copies back with a note and have decided to file a claim in small claims court for non performance. I will also call the local FBI office and report the wire fraud.
This is what it is like to deal with AT&T. Great on-line ads but seriously incompetent service.
