Getting TEXT messages on my cell phone recently from 1110440602

Reported directly to Yahoo regarding this crap.

Message in the TXT MSG says:

Y! : makayla_ty8mfh : hola.
I heard about u, and I wanted to say hi.
Umm, I'm kinda shy, so how about you come find me online.
I got a profile at date-o-pile.com

Clearly some type of porno spam message.

I just want to know who keeps breeding to create these morons,
and how can we find them to sterilize them?

    got a text about a job from Jonny Daves he wants me to set up acct and send him the info and do some posting on craigslist. he then request i send him the login info w/password, when i asked about what name he said used mine when i said why he then said to use his. when i probed for more info he signed off. oh i was chatting online in yahoo msg did not want to waste my text on him. does not seem legit. he said it was for help in cleaning.

    It is most definitely related to people taking advantage of craigslist, and as far as I can tell you are just as vulnerable if supplying your phone number in an email response to an ad placed for deception purposes, as you are posting your number openly on craigslist. I figure there must be some collation of people who are utilizing VOIP technologies to easily exploit so many people.

    I posted a job wanted ad today, even taking care to spell out some of the numbers, and within an hour I got a text that related to a job offer, from the popular 111144061. Then just before that, 111144060 sent a text related to some yahoo user trying to send me a text... People still use yahoo? LMAO!

    i getting harrest by a stocker and i dont know who he is and the police cant do anything becuase its a yahoo free texing yahoo.com thing  i tired of it he has treatting me and my family and i have no ground to stand on just the tex messages please stop people like this were is a number were i can call and report dhim please someone help me thanks

    I have received about 15 test messages over the last 2 days from 1(110)440-602, all have different names.  The most recent came from diana_98@yahoo.com telling me to set up yahoo messenger and add interviewmanager98@yahoo.com to have an interview.  No company was listed and I have been getting texts as well as emails like these since posting my resume with Resume Rabbit.  I am contacting them as well to complain.  These have to be scams since all the texts and emails all have the same information but different names.

    This number must be one of the lines used by yahoo email.  I receive text messages from a friend in the military who is actively deployed in Iran through her yahoo account.  This is the number through which the yahoo messages are sent.  It isn't the number for the actual person sending you a message, it's a phone number yahoo uses for their users.   In other words, many yahoo users sending texts will have their texts sent through this number.  That is why there is such a varied number of responses about this number.  

    When you click on the message sent from this number, you'll see the person's yahoo account username.  You might want to search yahoo for that user.

    anni love i started texting me asftyer i filled out porofiler on match.com. I had no picture nor personal info on site. She will not stop. Also another one called Mandy Moore lol and another called meghan kelly. so if you asre talking to these peeps do not get sucked in. Yahoo needs to do a better job as does match .com taking people's money.

    I received a message from the same number 1111440601 and it was from a yahoo email address godisgood369@yahoo.com. The body of the text was from a scam artiest on Craigslist.com. One of those rent my house amazing house for a "To Good To Be True" price. I replied to the post on Craigslist.com & received an email from this person asking for my name, address, phone#, and some other general info. Wouldn't you know I was approved right away, yeah red flag for me but I had already given my phone number out. Never gave any bank account info or ss# info, THANK GOD! But now they are sending me text and I'm starting to get a bit freaked out! Does anyone on here know what I can do about this or how I can report such activity.

    I forgot to mention in my previous post that another red flag was this godisgood369@yahoo.com asked me to send them money via Western Union. When I stopped communicating via email, the text started. Please Help!
