I have received calls from this number 863-288-0032 today both at home and at work. Scott Snyder ( strong indian accent) claims he is an attorney and he needs the name of my attorney. He claims I have an outstanding payday loan which I do not have. I have not ever received a loan from the company they claim to be representing. I have, due to fear, sent them over $1500. I will not be sending them anything else!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    You were just conned out of $1500.

    This is a phony "payday loan debt collection" extortion racket, run by criminal scammers probably in India.  The "debts" are fake, and the threats, vicious as they are, cannot be carried out.

    How did they have you send them money?
    1)  Credit card number?
         (contact your bank immediately to block number and dispute charges)
    2)  Debit card number?
         (contact your bank immediately to block number and dispute charges)
    3)  Checking account number?
         (contact your bank immediately to close account and dispute charges)
    4)  Prepaid debit card number?
    5)  Gift card?
    6)  Western Union?
    7)  MoneyGram?
    8)  Other? (specify)

    everyone knows they are frauds and scam artists. the trick is to report them on the OMB CONTROL NO 1557-0232 FORM. this is a ligitimate form that you can fax and make a complaint and it will be adressed. problem is, you need the company name and address . I have used this form many times and the phone calls have ceased. it is against the law for any debt collector to continue to harass you once you have requested a cease and desist from them. they will be fined $5000 for each occurance, so let's get the address and all keep faxing in these forms and get them fined, and fined, and fined until we run these scam artists out of business!!!!!!
