Received phone call at my business claiming my sister used our number relating to 2 felony warrants against her. Complete lies. Want Money to resolve issue!

    Shakedown scam..
    They target the victim by calling the relatives and feeding them a line of BS like they did you.
    Sometimes that gets the relative to pay money to "keep the victim out of jail".
    At the least, it's intended to scare the victim so they panic and pay without any proof the "debt" is osed to these liars, or is even real.

    File complaints with FTC, your state AG, and the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau.
