Recently hired an EuropCar during a trip to France, returned the car at 13.50 within the agreed return tme period and found that I was charged for an extra day as EuropCar said the car was returned at 15.16. As I had not booked any luggage and printed my boarding pass in advance, I had no evidence of the time of the return at the depot or arrival at the Toulouse airport I asked EuropCar to review the CCTV recordings for the day which they refused to do. Make sure you get hard evidence of your return time when leaving the car back. Best avoid EuropCar and tour operators that use them. There are hundreds of complaints on the internet - SO BE WARNED!
