Carchex is a scam. Do not spend your money with them. My motor went out on my car and the adjuster goes out to look at it and they denied my claim, saying that my rotors where rusty and under the car had spider webs. What the hell do that have to do with my motor.

Thank you for sharing your frustration on your engine claim. Unfortunately, due to your post only containing your first name we are unable to locate your account to respond more directly to your concerns, Typically on an engine claim, the 3rd part contract administrator will send out an inspector to determine the cause of failure of the engine. The inspector will take note of the condition of the vehicle and note any out of the ordinary conditions that might relate.
Spider webs in the wheel wells and rust on your rotors can indicate the vehicle sat for a period of time and would be noted by the inspector. However, your claim approval or denial would be based on the direct cause of failure to the engine.
Please give us a call right way and we will be more than happy to get all of your claims info to see if anything can be done to assist you or offer further explanation as to why the contract administrator denied your claim.
