Noisy on spin cycle

This is the second whirpool duet washer I have had. This is the second time that once the machine is  about 4 to 6 weeks out of the warranty that the machine starts making loud noises on the spin cycle. It starts banging like the barrel is out of balance.  I cannot afford a new machine every 4 years. I feel that this should be a recall and be repaired or replaced for free.
