They are a debt collector located in St. Charles MO, with a history of consumer complaints of harassing and abusive collection, threats, and refusing to validate, in violation of FDCPA.
The above pattern of complaints is often found with debt collectors collecting on old, cheaply bought, out of statute debt, using cheap computer name searches to bill alleged debtors anywhere they find a match, and using the above illegal abusive and deceptive tactics to coerce payment even when consumers contacted do not owe the alleged debts. Such illegal tactics may result in losses to consumers through fraud.
Debt collectors are required to mail you notice within 5 days of initial contact, disclosing the amount and creditor to which they claim the alleged debt is owed, and notifying you of your right to dispute and request proof of the debt. Failure to send this notice is a violation of FDCPA.
File complaints with FTC, your state AG, and MO AG.
Note that among complaints are many indicating a pattern of abusive and harassing calls, including harassing calls to neighbors, and a complaint of stalking.
