Repeated and unwanted phone calls wont stop

My house has been receiving numerous phone calls of around 10-15 calls a day for the last few days, sometimes only separated by a few minutes.  On Caller ID all it says is New Jersey, 973-813-7735.  If I pick up the phone there is no answer or anything.  If I call back there is an option to be removed from their calling list which I have tried and of course does not work.  I have called my state attorney general and filed a complaint with the FCC but I don't know if anything will seriously come of it.  Thanks for any help.
