I am receiving numerous call from several phone numbers all claiming to be FMR. I called back to respond but they would not provide me with any information about the purpose of their call until I provided them with all of my personal information. I was threatened with a federal lawsuit when I refused to answer their questions and have no idea what this is about.

    They have been calling  me my hisbamd and my family. I called and told them I don’t owe anything to oak wood payday loan. They knew all my information!!  I said the attorney I work for will be in touch. They said have him call. I am!!

    Same as above for me, some vm from an 877 number trying to locate me. Call back and this cool guy asks for my phone number and confirms my name. He spouts all this info, partially mine and partially not, telling me to validate a debt that isn’t mine. Told him I dispute it and to prove. He gets all pissy and telling me to pay it, I press back and he tells me who he works for. I tell him again to prove it, he talks smack and I keep pressing him. He hangs up. I reported him and his shady [***] business to the BBB, attorney general and federal trade commission. I have my attorney on standby if they think about calling me or any member of my family back so I can proceed with suing for harassment and violating the fair debt collection act.

    This is a scam who leaves a message saying they are going to contact your refferals. I told them not to call me anymore and they were a scam.  And had the nerve to yell at me I hung up on them.  Don't fall for this. It's garbage.
