Washer is defective and Maytag/Whirlpool Won't do Anything About it.

We bought a Maytag Centennial Washer a little over a year and a half ago it won't drain the water or complete the spin cycle and it's already ruined two loads of my laundry. I called Maytag and spoke to a Supervisor, Robin #3502 who basically laughed and me and told me there was nothing they could do other than offering to send a repairman out and give me a 1 year warranty for $299. I paid over $500 for this washer, I'm not paying Maytag an extra $299 to fix this defective product. It makes me sick to learn that a company who used to have such a strong reputation is now treating their customers like garbage and not listening to the hundreds (if not thousands) of complaints. To make matters even worse, one of my family members has this same washing machine and it’s having the same exact problems. But, there is still no recall. Maytag should be compensating their customers for these defective products and not just laughing at us when we call and complain. Shame on you Maytag. I hope that you listen to all of your customers and finally decide to do the right thing. You also need to be checking the customer complaints on the Maytag website. There are HUNDREDS of compaints on this washing machine and nobody is doing anything about this: http://reviews.maytag.com/9234-en_us/MVWC300X ... ews/reviews.htm.
