I signed up for a two year contract dec 2012 . I informed the rep of what channels I wanted and was given  a price,later to find out several of the channels I  had requested were not in the package I requested. I was told I had to upgrade which I did not want. I cancelled and have been charged 350,00 fee. Tried to explain to rep but to no avail.  I now have uverse and could not be happier,had some technical line difficulties but were solved in a couple of days. AT&T staff were very helpful and I got the channels and price. AT&T also credited me the 350.00 direct tv charged me. Screw Direct tv.
